The TENT School of Ministry
The TENT School of Ministry was established as an extension of TENT Ministries in order to carry out the vision God gave us in Isaiah 54:2-3: “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities." Isaiah 54:2-3 (NIV)
Each school is designed with the ultimate goal of being an extension of God's love and grace to a world in need. We strive to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of individuals by partnering up with organizations, neighboring churches, local precincts, and passionate individuals striving to impact and drive positive change, to reach disenfranchised communities locally as well as across the city and around the world. We identify needs and pull resources together to meet those needs. Furthermore, we works collaboratively with various chaplaincies to help train and develop new chaplains as well as dispatch qualified chaplains to marginalized communities and high need areas. Finally, we strive to change the face of evangelism. We focus specialized attention on empowering emergent leaders and missionaries, training them in community outreach, connecting them to resources and contacts to encourage the commission: "..."Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15.

Rosarito, MexicoPurchased in 2018, our Mexico location is just 30 minutes from the border. It is a central location that allows us to meet physical and spiritual needs of neighboring communities.

INDIA MISSIONS TRIP 2018!On July 30, 2018, TENT Ministries conducted a missions trip to South India! We were able to spend time with the children at an orphanage, conduct a powerful women's conference, host over 300 Pastors at a Pastors' conference, and impact dozens of children and youth through services and street outreach! Other National and International Outreaches
California 2016TENT Ministries hit the streets of Downtown, Los Angeles on April 2016 to bring care packages, heart-felt worship, and prayer to the community on Skid Row; a community with one of the world's largest homeless populations.
Not only was TENT Ministries able to bless hundreds of men and women in this high-need area, but the team was also able to visit the LA Dream Center to glean insight and serve alongside of them to bring food as well as live worship and prayer to the streets. The team walked away with a new, found appreciation for missions and street ministry. Glory of God! |
Mexico 2016TENT Ministries visited Tijuana and Rosarito, Mexico in May 2016 to bless the children at two orphanages with backpacks and school supplies as well as prayer and encouragement for the employees. We were also able to bless the orphanage with a beautiful art mural in their lunchroom meeting area complete with bible scriptures to remind them of how special they are to their Father in heaven. Though the trip was short, the impact we made was deep and a seed was planted for the glory of God. We established long-lasting friendships and relationships with the wonderful children and staff that will last a lifetime!

Mexico 2017TENT Ministries had the honor of returning to our friends at the Tijuana and Rosarito orphanages in May 2017! We were able to bless the children with backpacks, instruments, games, sports equipment, face painting, and haircuts, thanks to the help of our faithful friends and sponsors. We were also able to teach the children worship songs, bring puppet shows and bible studies, and spend some much needed time in prayer with the staff and children. In addition, we were also able to visit a women's shelter, a men's rehabilitation center, and the "Red Zone" area of Tijuana to share testimonies and offer prayer. More than 100 people dedicated or recommitted their lives to Christ during the 12-day trip! Glory to God!

Florida 2017TENT Ministries united with Assemblywoman Maritza Davila in September 2017 and several other local North Brooklyn organizations to collect resources to provide relief to individuals and families affected by Hurricane Irma.
Together we were able to collect 3 pallets of food, goods, and resources and hand-deliver them to communities that needed them the most, from elderly homes to mobile home communities. |
Puerto Rico 2017After Hurricane Irma hit, Hurricane Maria made landfall shortly thereafter, taking a toll on the island of Puerto Rico and ravaging everything in its path.
TENT Ministries paid a visit just 4 weeks after the hurricane to bring all of the food, water, and resources collected by the efforts of over 26 North Brooklyn organizations and distribute them to key places on the island and also offer hope in the midst of chaos as the residents began the grueling task of cleaning up and starting over. |
Puerto Rico 2018In January of 2018, TENT Ministries returned to the island of Puerto Rico along with a Nurse Practitioner and CEO of Heeling Soles, to bring medicine, medical treatment, and sneakers to men, women, and children, in key affected areas.
From Patillas to Loiza, from Utuado to Adjuntas, TENT Ministries was able to provide care and attention to those who have felt forgotten and neglected. We were also able to return in February of 2018 for a follow-up and to bring more supplies, partnering up with organizations, churches, and emergent leaders on the island and empower them to continue outreach in the communities in which they serve. |
